While no doubt what you say is true (‘Online
applications are best’; SN 30/6/08), six clicks to get
where you want to be to find "tailored information" for one question
still seems extraordinarily complicated.
Also, to use the SAC or other external firms to help fill in forms
will cost the crofter money. They don't do applications for free.
Why does it have to be such a "highly complex process which can only
be done effectively online"?
Until now, we have always managed to fill in the forms ourselves (IACS,
ESA, RSS etc) but this is just a step too far.
